Injustice In Malaysia

For a week i've been monitoring the news of Koh Chon Weng being beaten up by the Police, and his arrest. To see it coming up on other blogs, and seing a facebook group (which i've joined) being created specifically for this, it really amazes me how many people in Malaysia share my point of view of what i reluctantly call "my home country". There are videos of his press conference on the internet, and watching him recreate the scenario he was enduring, he had gained my respect, and support, for standing up and going public, to let everyone in Malaysia, and hopefully the whole world, know how shit Malaysia's justice system is.

As i was reading up the comments on the video posted, afew comments were aggaints the police actions (well naturally). And some were just aggaints Malaysia , Malays as a whole, which i wouldn't just agree just like that. I feel those comments needs a little more depth into it.

However, what got my attention was, a comment from a person, who really made me stand up, and just want to say " Hey! you need to check your brains before you speak"
Let me quote:
Anonymous said...

honestly..I'm very sure that there is a valid reason for the actions taken by the police.Besides he might not even remember the incident correctly under the influence of alcohol. What is posted here is just one side of the story. And to those people who are unhappy with Malaysia, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!If you think that the grass is greener on the other side go ahead and start packing. Its a disgrace to have people like you in our country.
Perhaps the country will be better off without you ungrateful bastards.

After reading that, i was like, woah! However, i find his comments are long, but without any substance, the sort of comments, or well as u can say, words u hear and just think its rubbish.

1st:I'm very sure that there is a valid reason for the actions taken by the police.

Well, first things first, valid reason or not, there is NO NEED to ABUSE someone, a human being, like that.

2nd: Besides he might not even remember the incident correctly under the influence of alcohol.

Hold on a second, if i was pissed drunk, and being knocked the fuck out of me, by the police
. I am pretty sure it would be a " GREAT" night to remember.

3rd: those people who are unhappy with Malaysia, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!If you think that the grass is greener on the other side go ahead and start packing. Its a disgrace to have people like you in our country.

This comment made me flip, sorry mate, it is clear to me that you have not stepped out of that shit hole country, because mate, the grass is FUCKING GREENER on the other FUCKING SIDE!! Disgrace to have people like me ? Please, I feel God is punishing me to be born a MALAYSIAN!

4th:
Perhaps the country will be better off without you ungrateful bastards.

Better off without us ? Without us who have experience in working in a DEVELOPED country ? An Education Degree in a DEVELOPED COUNTRY ? Have you forgoten, that MALAYSIA no matter how long, will always be a 3rd world country. You may think MALAYSIA has developed, but honestly, think about it, you're runned by 3rd world country politicians. How do you expect MALAYSIA to grow that far ? You're wrong mate, i think i am better off without Malaysia. The United Kingdom has given me more chances, and thaught me more things in my first 9 months here, than i have had in my 20 years of living in MALAYSIA. Now that i am here for nearly two years, I wish i don't have to go back again.

The Update

First of all, as you can see from my previous post, I've changed my hair, to a familiar hairstyle, but with a different hair dye. Don't really have great pictures yet though. But that should give u an idea how is the color of my hair now.

Second, great news for me, and to those who matter, I've finally graduated from University. Not really a long journey though, but certainly something i've been waiting for all my life. This somehow closes a chapter in my life, and it is time for me to move on to greater things in life. What are those you may ask ? That is up to me to find out then. Graduation is on the 12th of November 2008, 10.30am at the Bristol Cathedral. Great to hear that my parents have already booked their ticket to come over to see me off as a student.

Third, Bad news to my family, and also to those who matter, the verdict is I am not coming home this September. To those of u, who had anticipated my return, sorry to dissapoint you, but this macho man is remaining in Bristol. I know I may have promised some of you, that I am returning for my holidays, but there are some unfinished business yet to be taken care of here in the UK. I can't reveal too much, as it may somehow affect the anticipation.

Fourth, I've moved to my new place now, and this time, it is a proper house. Located at Fishponds, Bristol. My new address is House 118, Lawn Road, Bristol, BS16 5BB. Pretty short, compared to the other addresses I've had.

These are the few updates I can provide at the moment, so to my family and friends....

Please Anticipate The Return........

Lets give it a shot....

I pray that your results can grant you to come over to the UK to study. It doesn't have to be in Bristol, because, whereever you go, i will be there for you. Its been so long since I have waited for this chance, to be with you. Would it be corny to say that you were the first girl i truly liked ? OR would it be corny to say that, I have been having this feeling for you since our primary school days ? I don't care if it is corny, becoz its true. I will try my best to be that guy in your life, to be someone to care for you, to be that someone you can always count on to take your side, and to be that someone who will protect you from harm.

I will, and believe me, I will.

I may not be able to promise you all the glamour in life, but one thing I can promise you is that I will always try my best to make you happy. All we need is a blessing from God, that we can be finally together in the UK. I will always pray hard for not only your results, but also for your well-being. I care about you babe, and I am always thinking about you. =)

Signature Dish #1

Chicken & Beef Fajitas

Usually you can order this in mexican restaurants, and maybe any Chillis, or TGIF restaurants. But today, I'm gonna teach you to make Fajitas, as good as those! Here are the ingredients.

Serves 3.

1 Large Onion

7-8 Cloves of Garlic

1 Red Pepper ( You can add Green pepper as well if you want)

Beef Mince

2 Chicken Breast Meat

1 Bottle of Uncle Ben's Chilli Con Carne (Any Brand is ok)

1 Big Pack of Grated Mozarella Cheese.

Mixed Herbs

A Pack of Fajitas Wraps

Preparation.

Chop Garlic, Red Pepper and Onions to Fine Pieces

Season the mince with Salt and Black Pepper

Chop Chicken Meat to Small Chunks

Cooking

Fry Chopped Garlic, Red Pepper and Onions till fragrant

Add Beef Mince to the pan and fry till brown

Add Chicken Chunks and fry till brown

Pour the Whole Bottle of the Chilli Con Carne in to the pan

Sprinkle some mixed Herbs to the Mixture

Stir the mixture till boiling

Place Some of the mixture on a Fajita Wrap

Sprinkle Some Mozarella Cheese on the mixture

Roll The Fajita

Sprinkle some Mozarella Cheese on top of the Wrap

Put into Oven to Bake till Cheese is brown and cripsy.

Serve with Salad, or Chips.

Dats it ppl, simple as that. Very cheap, and with those ingredients, you can make up to 10 to 12 Fajitas Wraps. Here as Sample Picture.
Try it, and let me know what you think. If you don't wanna try making it, let me know and i'll make it for you to try =D

Moving Out

Time to move out the rest of my stuff from my Student Village accomodation =(. Guess the time is finally here, am gonna miss my super room. Really love my room alot, and would be a shame to know that i will never get that kind of room again. Lots of memories in my flat, meeting great flatmates, who then turned to be great friends! Nicole, Kay, Ed, and Pete, you guys have helped my stay in bristol much better. Learning loads from you guys, esspecially Ed with his "shit" british bands, but i love your British comedies =D. Can't wait to go house hunting, and to see what kind of house we can get =). Hopefully it is as nice as Nicole's new house. Its awesome there, i spent about close to 10 to 15 days staying there with them, and i feel like i was on a holiday, and that is my hotel =P.

oh well...mental strength is very important, and i have it

Pretty much sums up how i would react nowadays, as i feel my mental strength is growing, and also has healed esspecially after exams.
Call me arrogant, or cocky, or maybe anti-social, but i am not. I feel i got a great deal of freedom now after exams, and wanna hang out with the ppl i haven't hung out with for a very long time, and spend more time, outside of campus.

I slam my critics like this, not by performing well, but being myself.
Sometimes like this as well.
